voice recording on iphone

Please help me, is there any chance to disable the red line at top of the screen (says recording), while you are recording voice on iphone? With every voice recorder application, if I start recording and lock the screen, a red line appears on the top, and I don't want anybody would know that I am just recording... This information would be very helpful for me! thanks
